I’ve realized that some of you don’t have any idea who I am, but you’ve followed me to read about my life… so thank you!
I’m Jen. I live at the beach. I love coffee.
Growing up I moved around a lot, so I hate moving, but love traveling. I hope to stay in this place at least until I get through school, but then who knows? I am attending school online for a psyc major regarding addiction. The career I am striving for also requires a masters program… yay!
I actually like school and I’m good at it. Structured days are perfect for my type-A, OCD personality.
I know this is the right career, so it’ll be worth all the time and money put in. I’m a recovering addict, so my passion is raising awareness about addiction and helping others through sharing my experience, strength, and hope.
A large reason why I have done so well in recovery is because I got another chance at life through a relationship with Jesus. He didn’t “free me”, as in just removed my addiction in an instant; I did however gain strength from the Holy Spirit that I had never experienced before. My discernment also became much stronger through growing closer to Christ.
My family is so amazing and I wouldn’t trade my two built-in best sister-friends for anything! I’m so thankful for where I am in life, where God has placed me, thankful for the people he has surrounded me with. Through all the ups and downs of life I have a core group of girls that surround me and are always there for me
I know this is just a short intro, but hopefully this helps you get to know me and my heart better! I would love to get to know y’all, so feel free to comment and tell me about yourself or dm me!
My ultimate desire is to bring glory to God and I hope that this blog reflects not only that, but my human imperfections and struggles, as well as the grace that I continually receive from my Lord. ❤️✌🏼
1 Peter 5:6-7
So be content with who you are, and don’t put on airs. God’s strong hand is on you; he’ll promote you at the right time. Live carefree before God; he is most careful with you
